I am a portrait and event photographer who believes that photographs are incomplete without the places that inspire us and enrich our lives. Because of this belief, I emphasize and am inspired by a sense of place in my work. I particularly enjoy photographing proposals, engagement shoots, weddings, and other important events in places that matter to you.

David did an incredible job capturing our special day! We had a consultation beforehand where David helped map out the best place to stand in order to capture a perfect moment. He was then very accommodating throughout the day to take all the pictures we wanted. He also got us the finalized pictures with a quick turnaround time and they came out amazing! Overall a great experience and can't wait to work with David again, we can't recommend him enough!

David did our engagement photos and it was such a tremendous experience. We shared our inspiration board and the vibe we were looking for and he absolutely nailed it. We did our photos in Fort Tryon Park — and before the shoot, David scouted the area and shared with us a map of how we'd move through the park. At each spot, he had a vision for the poses, angles, and moments he wanted to capture. We spent hours going through Fort Tryon and the Met Cloisters and ended up with the perfect suite of photos. Truly could not recommend David Fischer Photography more!!

After 10 years of using my college Senior day headshot, I finally decided it was time for a new one. David understood the assignment and made me feel relaxed and comfortable as I sat for new photos. He captured serious looks, smiles, and some silly photos and drew out my confidence and personality. He is professional, sensitive, and fun to work with. There is no one I would rather work with to get my picture taken!
